Written by Salgado Studios has begun production on We Don’t Have Money for Zombies, a family-friendly short film about a group of young filmmakers who set out to make their first zombie movie with almost no budget—until their imagination takes them much further than expected.
Developed through a hands-on filmmaking experience in collaboration with Para Bajitos, the project brings young performers and aspiring filmmakers together with an experienced production team, giving students the opportunity to learn filmmaking while participating in a real film production.
The film marks a new chapter for Salgado Studios, bringing together two areas at the heart of our work: creating original films and sharing the filmmaking process with the next generation of storytellers.
