LITTLE CREATORS. BIG STORIES
In a special collaboration with Para Bajitos, this workshop explored the fundamental pillars of cinema through a hands-on, experimental approach designed specifically for children.
THE EXPERIENCE
From September 2025 through June 2026, our young creators go from brainstorming ideas to navigating the organized chaos of a movie set. This immersive program focuses on the discipline and magic of filmmaking, teaching kids that great cinema starts with a great imagination. The journey culminates in a practical production where the students take the lead in every role.
- Bilingual Foundations: Exploring the language of film in both English and Spanish, nurturing the multicultural identity of Miami’s youth.
- Experimental Storytelling: Encouraging kids to solve creative problems—like how to film an epic story on a “indie” budget.
- The Final Cut: A real-world production experience, featuring projects like our experimental short “We Don’t Have Money for Zombies,” where students live the reality of a cinematic set.
