LEARNING BY MAKING
A hands-on filmmaking program where students explored storytelling, acting, directing, camera, sound, and production while working together toward a collaborative film experience.
Through practical exercises and rehearsals, students learned how different roles come together to bring a story from idea to screen, developing creativity, communication, and teamwork along the way.
The journey culminated in the production of We Don’t Have Money for Zombies, giving students the opportunity to apply what they learned on a real cinematic set alongside a professional production team.
A Behind-the-Scenes preview of the project was presented in July 2026 at the 1st Children’s Arts Festival in Miami, organized by Para Bajitos. The completed film is set to premiere later in 2026.
