OUR STORY

Salgado Studios was founded in 2019 as the first associate company of MVP Originals, where three feature films were developed. This early collaboration marked the beginning of the studio’s journey, grounded in discipline, creative rigor, and a strong commitment to cinematic storytelling.

After completing its collaboration with MVP Originals in 2021, Salgado Studios entered a new phase of independent growth. Over the past few years, the studio has developed and produced three original projects—Silence in the Dark, Heartbeats, and the upcoming We Don’t Have Money for Zombies—all written and directed by Steven Salgado. These works reflect the studio’s evolving voice and its dedication to original, story-driven cinema.

Alongside its original productions, Salgado Studios expanded its creative reach through collaborations with artistic and commercial partners, producing branded content, and creative media projects while remaining closely connected to community-based initiatives.

Today, Salgado Studios continues to grow as a space for original filmmaking, collaboration, and creative exploration—building stories from experience, culture, and a deep love for cinema.
